Rent A Car Enterprise

A guy’s insurance that hit my rental car will not pay all of the cost. (legal, law, court)?

real_one asked:

His insurance company is being charged for days that the car is out of commission because of the money it lost for those days. It comes to a total of like $350 and they are not covering that part, just the repair cost. Should I go after the guy for the money and let him deal with his insurance company or should I try to negotiate with the insurance company. Budget rental car told me to call his insurance company. I have not the time or the inclination to mess with a big firm. do you think it’d be a better idea to ask the guy to pay, and then take him to small claims if he refuses? And, if i do ask him to by via certified mail, what is a good time frame I should set before I take it small claims…2weeks?….30 days?

thanks!!

The lawsuit and he can then sue his policy you incur when renting car your own auto insurance to pay you can then sue the amount wanted by you to leave your own auto insurance carrier out of the judgement.
