I just got a charge by a rental company for a ticket incurred when I was renting one of their vehicles. If this had happened in my own car, I would definitely go to court to fight the ticket. But in this case basically I’ve already paid it since it’s already been applied to my credit card. I understand the rental agency’s position and that it’s in the contract, but shouldn’t there be some recourse for the renter in these situations?
Just as clarification, this was a photo radar ticket, not a police stop.

You are “underage” until you are 25. They charge a fee for all people under 25, usually around $30 a day. It stinks! Supposedly we are the most likely to get into car accidents, joy riding and whatnot. Tell that to my family who just wants me home for the holiday!
