I heard that taking the magical express service could take up to an hour and a half which is a long time, but is renting a car and driving longer? I’d be renting a car in the long run anyway, since you can rent one at the world anyway.

I just got a charge by a rental company for a ticket incurred when I was renting one of their vehicles. If this had happened in my own car, I would definitely go to court to fight the ticket. But in this case basically I’ve already paid it since it’s already been applied to my credit card. I understand the rental agency’s position and that it’s in the contract, but shouldn’t there be some recourse for the renter in these situations?
Just as clarification, this was a photo radar ticket, not a police stop.

Unfortunaly no one in our group has cars that we trust to get us down there and since none of us are over 21(one is a week too late) none of the major car rental companies(Hertz, Enterprise ect.) will let us rent. Is there any in northern Ca(Specificaly in the northern sac county and southern placer county) that let 18 and over rent? Thanks!
