Rent A Car Enterprise

Is a car that was used as a “fleet” vehicle bad to buy?

Mindy W asked:

Everyones told me not to buy a car that was used as a rental, but what about used fleet cars?

Being fleet, you know it was used commercially. That can be okay, or not depending. If the vehicle was assigned to one person and they kept the maintenance up on it, it can be a good buy. If it sat in a pool and no one cared…well…

If you decide to consider it, please have your mechanic look first, it will cost you a little but potentially save you a lot.

My office would say most fleet cars are very similar good maintenance and highway miles and kept.
