The Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort. Do I need a 4wd vehicle to get there?

I’ve been receiving conflicting advice from their employees. I will be arriving in Vegas February 19th and have already prepaid for a rental car without 4wd or all wheel drive. Are the roads usually clear?
