Rent A Car Enterprise

Where in Wyoming is the cheapest place to live?

Charity P asked:

Cheapest groceries, cheapest homes, cheapest vehicles, cheapest rental homes as well. What about taxes and gasoline? Utilities and deposits? Childcare?

While I currently live in Lander, I have lived in Cheyenne, Laramie, Big Piney, and Wheatland. The farther west you go, the more expensive it is; it’s closer to Jackson, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons.

Cheyenne and Wheatland are gathering up the Denver/Fort Collins spill-over, and the cost of living has increased 2 to 3 times what it was 10 years ago.

In my opinion, smaller towns in the eastern part of the state are the least expensive. Housing and utililites are less expensive, but childcare may be harder to find.

    Hope this helps.
